With the multitude of smartphones and tablets flooding the market, there is a device for almost every need. However there is no "one size fits" all solution, since every user has different need and usage patterns. This smart tips might be helpful in deciding which mobile phone that suits your lifestyle :

1-Operating System

Those not quite attuned to the latest technological advances may prefer an iPhone or iPad as these devices take less time to accustomed to. But to those whose prefer to use the latest technology and would probably be open to the Android devices, which have extensive customization options and a wide variety of phone to choose from.

2-Screen Display
Samsung Galaxy SIII has a 4.8 inch and is one
of the top selection, if you are looking for sharp display
combined with impressive performance device. Get this
device for Best Offer Price of $450.00 at this link

Your eyes would thank you for getting a device with a bigger screen, especially if you like to read books, surf the Net or watch videos on the go.

The hot sellers among the newer Android smartphones mostly have larger screen sizes ranging from 4.3 inches to 4.8 inches.

If you prefer pocket-friendly phones with smaller displays of four inches, look for the iPhone 4s (3.5) inches or models from other brands. If you cannot decide between getting a smartphone or tablet , consider a hybrid device such as Samsung Galaxy Note, which has a 5.3 inches screen, or the Asus Padfone, which can be slotted into a 10.1 inches tablet.

Tablets on the other hand, usually come in either seven inches, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, 7.7 inches, such as Toshiba Regza Tablet AT270, or the 10.1 inches, such as Acer Iconia TabA200.The latest iPad's display measures 9.7 inches, which is slightly smaller than the bigger Android tablets.

Your choice of how big a device to get depends on how much you are willing to compromise on portability, since larger gadgets take up more space and tend to be heavier.

3-Processor

Dual-core processors work well for most people, but avid gamers would probably prefer a quad-core device, such as Samsung Galaxy SIII , which can render their graphics-intensive games fluidly.

Those who prize efficiency would appreciate how fasts it would be to multitask on quad core phones and tablets. On such souped-up devices, they can easily switch between reading office email, watching videos and messaging friends and family.

4-Battery Life

If you want a smartphone which can last more than a day, look at models such as theAsus Padfone, which can last up to five times longer when slotted into its tablet shell. When it comes to tablet battery life, better performers include the iPad (up to 10 hours) and the AsusTransformer Pad TF300TL (up to 14hours when dock into its keyboard station).

HTC One XL and Asus Transformer Pad TF300TL among the top choices for 4G-enabled phone. Best Price for HTC One XL is $640 & Asus TF300TL is $390, available for online purchase at Amazon Store

5-Connectivity

If you are tired of crawling the 3G speeds, consider getting a LTE (4G)-enabled phone or tablet. The HTC One XL and the Asus Transformer Pad TF300TL stand out among the few choices available. Those who love watching online videos and surfing the Net on their mobile devices will appreciate the speed boost.

For tablets, make your choice between a 3G/4G or Wi-Fi only model based on where you would use it. Pick the 3G model if you plan to use it on the go. If you are using it mostly at home, a Wi-Fi only is sufficient.

6-Data Plan

A certain amount of homework needs to be done here as there are variety of bundled price data plans.

Generally, if you do share your mobile device's data connection with your laptop or any other internet capable device, it would be difficult to use more than 2GB data per month- unless you are using a 4G device.

To make a more informed decision, ask your friends and family about their data plans and their usage patterns, for example, whether they view online videos or if they tether their devices to laptops.

Microsoft Wedge Mobile Keyboard

Microsoft Wedge Mobile Keyboard sold at $79.95 at Amazon Store. One of
the good looking Microsoft invention.
If you think Microsoft's curvy Arc Keyboard or Apple's aluminium-brushed Wireless Keyboard are small, wait until you get your hands on the Microsoft Wedge Mobile Keyboard.

Just Imagine the Apple Wireless Keyboard without the horizontal are above the F1-F12 rows of keys, all the keys compressed and in black, and you get the Wedge Mobile Keyboard.

Unlike most Microsoft peripherals which use a USB receiver, this keyboard is Bluetooth-enabled, saving you a valuable USB port on your tablet or laptop.

The edges and nottom of this keyboard have a metallic finish.

And its base, you will find a long triangular-shaped battery tray that helps prop the keyboard up for a more comfortable typing position. One end of the battery tray has a spring-loaded cover that you can open to pop in two AAA batteries. The Bluetooth button in on the other end.

The products comes with a rubber cover that powers down the device when you snap in over the keyboard, The cover also protects the keyboard from scratches. When folded in the centre, the cover doubles as a tablet stand. It can be folded at any angle when it remains for your tablet.

When you combine the weight of the Microsoft Wedge Keyboard and the cover, the wedge keyboard is 92g heavier than the Microsoft Arc Keyboard. So, it is not lightweight as it looks.

This keyboard is designed for Windows 8, or specifically for Windows 8 and RT tablets. We was able to borrow a Windows 7 tablet running a demo version of Windows 8 for this review.

This is the review results : Pairing the Wedge Keyboard with the Windows tablet was pretty straightforward. Power up the keyboard, press the Bluetooth button and go to the settings panel of the tablet. Tap on the keyboard icon and it will prompt you to type a six-digit pass code to complete the pairing.

The keys are almost as those on full-sized keyboards and it was like using the regular keyboard. In addition, there are specific Windows 8 shortcut keys, such as Share, Devices and Settings, that made it breeze to work with the Windows tablet.

The Wedge Keyboard also works great with the Windows 7 and Mac OS X machines as well as iOS and Android tablets.

At $79.95 from Amazon, the Microsoft Wedge Mobile Keyboard is slightly expensive. But if you intend to buy a Windows 8, this one is for you.

Razer Taipan Expert Ambidextrous Gaming Mouse
Razer Taipan for Pro Gamers with impressive features of 8200dpi sensitivity & 9 buttons.

Best Price at $70.45

Razer always names its gaming mice after deadly snakes. Its latest battling rodent is named after one of the most venomous, the Taipan. Unlike its lethal cousins, such as the Lachesis, which is shaped like a snake's head, the Taipan comes across as more conventional.

It resembles the Microsoft Touch mouse. Place them side by side and you will see how alike their contours are. This is not a bad thing, as the Taipan's prominent bulge at the lower end provides good support for your palm.

Of course, with its glowing green Razer logo and illuminated clickable scroll wheel, it looks cooler and slleker than the Touch Mouse. Two buttons sit just behind the scroll wheel at the top. Another two sit on each side of the mouse. Together with the left and right click buttons, Taipan has a total of 9 programmable buttons, all within easy reach of your fingers. Your index finger also does not have to curl back much to reach the top buttons.

The overall feel is top notch. The matte finish and rubberised pads on the either side feel good to touch and prevent slippage even if you have sweaty palms. While Taipan's symmetrical design means it is friendly to both right and left handlers, it is not as ergonomic as other Razer rodents such as the Naga 2012 edition.

Also, this mouse will cater to gamers who have different grip styles, such as claw or fingertip. This Razer Taipan worked perfectly out of the box when plugged in our Windows 7 gaming rig. We could immediately use the two top buttons to adjust the sensitivity of the mouse.

You can download Razer's Synapse software, available for Mac and Windows, to configure each button or bind a game's particular short-cut key to the button you desire. The software also uploads your personal settings automatically to the free Synapse cloud server.

This rodent's twin sensors- laser and optical- let it reach a sensitivity level of 8200 dots per sec (dpi).

For most of our tested game RPG, Diablo III or Skyrim, for instance, 1800dpi is adequate. When playing a first-person shooter FPS such as Crysis 2, 3600dpi is recommended for aiming and faster movement.

Regardless of the dpi you choose or game you play, handling the mouse is delight with its smooth gliding. It ll aim better & accurate if you are a FPS cravers.

The Razer Taipan might be a little costly, but it is both sleek and speedy, with an ambidextrous comfortable shape that will suit the most exacting gamer.

SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 Flash Drive

SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 Flash Drive 16GB/32GB/64GB

Not too long ago, a USB flash drive can store data less than a CD. These days, a single USB flash drive can hold your entire digital life. One good example is SanDisk Extreme USB 3.0 Flash Drive. A sliding switch on top of its plastic case let you expose or retract the drive.
Despite the 'extreme' label, the plastic housing seems too fragile to beat up or drop from height.

By current standards, this 1.1cm thick 7cm-long drive is a monster. It is half the length of Samsung Galaxy s III smartphone. And thicker in comparison, SanDisk's Cruzer Flash drive is a 4.5mm-thick silver. Still the extreme will fit nicely in any pocket or pouch.

It is also a small price to pay, since it is the only SanDisk that supports USB 3.0 , with transfer speeds  that said to be as fast as 190MB per second.

For the test, our team compared the 64GB review unit with a SanDisk Cruzer 8GB drive to see how long it took to transfer a folder containing 2.2GB of files and picture via USB 2.0 port from my iMac to each drive. The result : 8min 45sec for the Cruzer versus 2min 26sec for the Extreme.

Next,we transfererred the same folder from the newest Apple Macbook Air to the drives, using the USB 3.0 port. With the Cruzer it took 9min 6sec. The Extreme clocked a mere 31sec.

Out of the box, the Extreme can plugged into your computer and you can drag and drop your files into it. But you can choose to install the Exclusive SanDisk SecureAccess software. The Windows version comes with the flash drive. If you are a Mac User, you need to download it.

SecureAccess Software lets you protect and encrypt your files. So, if you lose the Extreme, whoever has got it cannot access you confidential files without entering the password.

All you have to do is to drag and drop your files into SecureAccess main screen or desktop icon. The software will do the rest.

The good thing is that it does not have to be installed on all your computers. You can just install it on the flash drive and start the software when you need to access you confidential files.

That is not all. SecureAccess comes with access to YuuWaa, a cloud storage service offering 2GB of free online backup. You can backup your files to YuuWaa via SecureAccess.

Sandisk Extreme USB 3.0 Flash Drive seems expensive. But if you want to fully exploit the speed of those USB3.0 ports of your spanking new laptop, go for Extreme.
